Organized since 1260 years St Dominic's Fair in Gdańsk is one of the most popular events of this type
in Europe. The phrase "street trade" takes on a new meaning at the time, and the rich cultural
and entertainment program attracts hundreds of thousands of people.
Just like in the Middle Ages, hundreds of artisans, pastry chefs, bakers, artists and collectors are exposing their stalls and stands on the streets of downtown of Gdańsk. You can buy almost anything here.
From numismatics and jewellery of the highest quality, the antiques, the hand-made porcelain or rare copies of the stamps or comic books. The rich gastronomic offer also occurs with traditional products
from various Polish regions and from around the world. But St Dominic's Fair means also a lot of concerts, street performances, parades and other events. Every day something interesting is happening here,
and the crowds of tourists and inhabitants of Gdańsk – browsing through the goods and participating
in the fun create an atmosphere of the medieval times .
